⭐A級用！笑いも取れる？日本の城❷天守閣編！英語案内演習ツール!!通訳ガイドも活用

　本ブログではインバウンド（訪日外国人）ビジネスだけでなく企業接待や留学生対応で英語案内が必要ながら、多忙で情報収集に中々時間をかけられない方々の為に、すぐに使える情報をわかりやすく解説しています。

　本テーマは『日本の城』わかりやすく解説ブログの《2.天守閣》パートの英語案内用『演習音声ツール』です。今回はA級用（日→英の対応が必要な方）向けツールとなります。

前書き：『演習音声ツール』について（⭐令和5年9月更新版）

　このシリーズは下記（D1～D3）の３モデルの音声合成音を使った英語案内の為の演習ツールです。ご自分の好みと必要度に合わせて目次からピンポイントでお試しください。ニーズが高いモデルから順次ツール化していますので、音声がないものは少々お待ち下さい。☛《補足》本ブログの演習ツールは4タイプ（A～D)ありますが、今回はDタイプ（3モデル）を使用しています。汎用性も考慮された《Glossaries：用語集》もご活用ください。

  • 文単位で日本語の後に英訳が續きますので、内容の確認ができます。
• D2:口頭即訳用：『日本語』音声ファイルのみ（ポーズの間に英訳）

2. 天守閣

2.1 基本情報の演習

　この項は天守閣説明の背景ネタ10文です。本編ブログの英文は元々口頭向けではありませんので、ここでは案内説明用に簡略化した口頭英訳例を追加しました。（日本語はそのままですので、厳密な日本語の対訳ではない点、ご注意下さい。現場でよくある要約通訳の練習に。）

👉 Glossaries（用語集）

　日常会話でも使える用語集です。英語は単語は1秒、長いものは2秒ポーズです。日本語は全て2秒ポーズで置きました。

　ここでは、同じ日本語（10文）に対して、（Ｘ）本編ブログ版（Ｙ）口頭版の英訳2種のツールが各10文續きます。特に(X)は各文の長さも長く、量も各10文と多いので、必要とお好みに合わせて、ご選択ください。また、本編ブログの10英文は異なる2話者（各5文）に分かれていますが、ここではツール数を抑える為、1ファイルに合体しました。日本語は(X)(Y)とも全て同じ音声です。🔶(X)本編ブログ版：日本語＋英訳＝10セット💛（Ｙ）口頭版：日本語＋英訳＝10セット

上述の通り、日本語は同じですので、それぞれのお好みで（Ｘ）本編ブログ版（Ｙ）口頭版の英訳を試すことができます。無音箇所（ポーズ）は、最長の(X)に合わせていますので、（Y)ベースで英訳する場合は、ゆったりしゃべることも可能です。

1. そもそも日本に防御目的のいわゆるお城は2万から5万あったと言われています。
2. ただその規模や形態は様々で天守があった城は１００ほどとの説もあります。
3. 昔からの防御用のお城が戦国時代になると軍事施設となり天守閣が作られました。
4. 天守とはご覧の通り、城のなかで最も高い物見櫓のことです。
5. 他の物見やぐらと違うのは、領主の権威や権力を示す意図がありました。
6. 単独で高い為、もう逃げ場がなく、最後の籠城を想定した作られました。
7. その為、領主たちは　通常は天守に住んでいたわけではありません。

9. 現在国内に現存する天守閣は１２だけです。

2. Although their scale and form varied, it is said that there were around 100 castles with a castle tower.

4. The castle keep, as you can see, refers to the tallest watchtower within the castle.
5. What sets it apart from other watchtowers is that it also served to demonstrate the lord’s authority and power.

2.3 笑いが取れるかも？説明演習

👉《笑いがとれるかも？》パートについて：実際の案内現場ではあり得ない、脱線の多い長い説明パートですが、日常会話でも使える色々な表現を意図的に織り込んで構成されています。それによりインバウンドのその時の状況に合わせて柔軟な説明ができることを目指しています。

Q1：何故天守閣はこんなに数が減ったのてすか？

”Why are there so few castle keeps?”

　本項は日英それぞれ10文です。本編ブログでは、日本語音声は1話者、英語音声は前半の真面目パートと後半の笑いパートの2話者に分かれていましたが、演習ツール用に英語音声は1ファイルに纏めました。1ファイルですが、前半（米国男性）と後半（オーストラリア男性）の2話者の印象変化をお楽しみください。
