今回は商談で北陸の金沢市に訪日中の重要顧客を兼六園にご案内した際に梅園の近くにひっそりと佇む門と建物（「成巽閣（せいそんかく）」）について一体何かを聞かれ、その僅かの間に、できるだけ腑に落ちる回答をしたいシチュエーションです。
一般的に多くの訪日外国人は『食べ物』『アート』『建築（匠）』『ファッション』『日本人』に高い関心があると言われますので、それらの視点に立って、より口頭で短く、わかりやすくお伝えして、ぜひ、「成巽閣」を体験してみたい（行ってみたい）と思わせたいですよね。

２．次の補足でご納得？
残念ながら前パートで外した場合のフォローセリフ、いつも通りインバウンド視点を踏まえ関心別に置いてみました。ここも長文が多いので、口頭向けに適当に区切っています。
建築（匠：たくみ）系
１ 中には庭を観るための長い縁側があるのですが、それは庭側に長く突き出た庇がありながら、柱が角に1本しかなく、視覚の制約を感じず庭を広々と鑑賞できます。その秘密はその長い庇を支える長い梁が同じく庭に突き出て張られていて、てこの原理で重い庇を支える珍しい工法が使われています。

１ 中には奥方が謁見者と面談する為の豪華に設えられた広い上段の間と下段の間があり、その二つの部屋を仕切る天井側の欄間はアートそのものです。素材は最高級木材の桧で、その両面には殿様お抱えの名工により花鳥の彫刻が五彩で施されていて、その立体的な緻密さは一枚の板から彫ったものとはとても思えません。

ファッション系
１ 領主家族の豪華な所蔵品は定期的に公開されますが、その中には源氏物語を表した華やかな奥方の衣装があり、そこには源氏物語の主人公たちが登場する春と秋の場面が描かれていて、それを纏って兼六園の四季の花を楽しんだであろう奥方の姿が目に浮かびます。

フード系
１ 春には領主の奥方達が実際に愛用した豪華な雛人形が公開され、そこでは金沢のひな祭りに欠かせない現在の実物の砂糖菓子（金花糖）も飾られます。これは煮込んだ砂糖を海や山の幸の形に固めて作る伝統技術ですが、雛祭りが終わった後は煮物などの料理の味付けに使われます。

１ この豪邸は一般庶民向けに公開されている兼六園の中にありますが、歴史的な背景からも格式高い存在感があり、何となく敷居が高く感じる人が多く、地元人も入ったことがない人が大勢います。でも本当の所、兼六園の入場料の数倍近い入場料がかかることが、何となく入りにくい大きな原因の様で、ここでも日本人が格式のプレッシャーよりお金のプレッシャーに弱いことがよくわかりますね！
- Although this mansion is located in Kenroku-en Garden, open to the general public, its historical background lends it a prestigious yet imposing presence. Surprisingly, many locals have never ventured inside.
