While the getting is goodの基本的用法

　”While the getting is good “というフレーズは一般的に、或る好条件が続く限り、あるいは或る好機が存在するうちに「その好機を生かす」あるいは「その状況を最大限に活用する」ことを意味します。 暗に状況が変わったり、不利になったりする前に速やかに行動することを示唆しています。

日常会話例(親しい間柄！)

　まずは日常会話での使用例をご紹介しますが、ご覧の通り、基本的な人間関係ができている状況ですので、お客様へ使用する際には注意が必要です。10種ありますのでお好みに合わせてお試し下さい。

　いつも通り、最後に記憶に残るためのサンプル文です。これで感情的に腑に落ちれば、使い方はもう大丈夫ですね。

《英文》I meant to say to the customer, ‘while the getting is good’ because it was a good opportunity, but I mistakenly said ‘while good is getting’. I found I ‘ve missed the best opportunity of using the phrase ‘while the getting is good’, although ‘while the getting was good’. “While good was getting”!

《日本語訳》いい機会だったのでお客様に”While the getting is good”（折角なので）と言ったつもりが、間違えて”While good is getting”（良いことがあるうちに）と言ってしまった。いいチャンスだったのに”While the getting good “というフレーズを使う絶好の機会を逃したことに気づいた。”良いものを手に入れながら！”
