今回は商談で訪日中の重要顧客と移動中のタクシーの中から見えた「節分」の人だかりを見て一体何かを聞かれ、その僅かの間にできるだけ腑に落ちる回答をしたいシチュエーションです。
一般的に多くの訪日外国人は『食べ物』『アート』『建築（匠）』『ファッション』『日本人』に高い関心があると言われますので、それらの視点に立って、より口頭で短く、わかりやすくお伝えして、ぜひ、「節分」を体験してみたい（行ってみたい）と思わせたいですよね。
1. この一言で腑に落ちる？

1.１ 誰でも参加＆見物できる？

- 節分は季節の分かれ目という意味で、現代でも体調を崩す人が多いですが、古代の日本人はその病気や不調を鬼に見立てて、それを追い払う儀式を始めました。見るだけで長旅の疲れを追い払えるかもしれませんよ。

- 名建築で有名な多くの寺社では屋外コンサートの様な大規模な節分イベントが開催されます。ステージから観衆に向けて豆がまかれますが、皆逃げないで豆に向かって行きます。見事な匠の建築と現代人の鬼の様な逞しさが同時に楽しめますよ。
- Many temples and shrines, known for their masterful architecture, hold large-scale Setsubun events similar to outdoor concerts. During these events, beans are thrown at spectators from the stage, and instead of running away, people eagerly go for the beans. You can enjoy both the stunning architectural masterpieces and the ogre-like bravado of modern participants at the same time.
2.2 ファッション系
虎柄ビキニファッションは美探求の鬼？
- 節分の主役は豆を投げられて逃げる悪役の鬼は、ワルなのに大人気で色々なコスプレファッションがネット販売されています。スタイルに自信がある方には虎柄のビキニがオススメですが、周囲の鬼の様な嫉妬視線には気をつけて。
- The main character of Setsubun is the villainous ogre who escapes after having beans thrown at him. Despite being a villain, he is very popular, and various cosplay fashions are sold online. If you’re confident in your style, the tiger-skin bikini design is recommended, but be wary of the jealous stares from other ogres around you!

2.3 アート系
節分と芸術的童話との鬼繋がり？
- 約百年前に「泣いた赤鬼」というタイトルの童話があり、そこでは赤鬼と青鬼のお互いを思いやる優しさが描かれていて小学生の教科書にも載っています。節分の鬼のイメージにも影響を与えたこの芸術的名作を読んだ多くの子供達は赤鬼の優しさに泣きましたとさ。

- 節分には多くの人が恵方巻というロールケーキの様に海苔で巻かれた寿司を食べます。恵方は東北の方向を指し、その方向を向いてその寿司を切らずに丸ごと食べると願いが叶うというのですが、海外の方が食べるとどうなるか試してみませんか？
- On Setsubun day, many people eat eho-maki, sushi wrapped in seaweed like a rollcake. The direction of the eho is northeast, and it is said that if you eat the sushi whole without cutting it, facing this direction, your wish will come true.
