『上下線不通』ネイティブに英語で説明？《観光･接待客の電車移動＆トラブル時》通訳ガイド表現わかりやすく

👉注！因みにタイトルの『上下線不通』は色々表現できますが”Inbound and outbound services are suspended”と言うことが可能です。

今回は観光や接待のお客様（インバウンド）の業務用英語対応シリーズの「電車移動する際」の表現例です。このシリーズでは、具体的な夫々の状況下で最低限必要なセリフを定期チェック頂くことで、大事なお客様へのサービス品質維持を目的としております。

平常時パターン

予定通り電車で移動する場合

👉当初の予定通り移動する基本パターンです。京都から鎌倉大仏までの移動例で。

明日は午前10時発の新幹線で京都駅から東京駅に移動します。
東京駅で横須賀線に乗り換えて鎌倉に行きます。
鎌倉駅から私鉄の江ノ電に乗り換えて長谷駅で降ります。
18時発の鎌倉行き電車に乗るためにそれまでにこの駅に戻らなければなりません。
帰りも同じ経路ですが、今夜は宿泊予定のホテルのある横浜に戻ります。

👉英訳例です。

Tomorrow, we will move from Kyoto Station to Tokyo Station on the Shinkansen departing at 10 a.m.
At Tokyo Station, I will transfer to the Yokosuka Line and go to Kamakura.
From there, we will transfer to the Enoden of private railway and get off at Hase Station.
In order to take the Kamakura-bound train departing at 6 pm, we have to return to this station by then.
We’ll be taking the same route back, but tonight we’ll be returning to Yokohama where we have a hotel reservation.

予定変更して途中から電車に誘導する場合

👉電車がより早く着く、楽に移動できる、又は安く上がる等で説得したい想定です。歌舞伎公演に遅れることを考慮した電車移動のケースとしました。

渋滞で歌舞伎公演に遅れそうなので、電車に乗り換えましょう。
次の交差点でタクシーを降りて最寄り駅から電車に乗ります。
ここからは地下鉄に乗れるので、そのまま東銀座駅に移動します。
東銀座駅から歌舞伎座は直ぐなので、そうすればタクシーより30分以上早く着きます。
今日の都内は道路渋滞が激しいので、帰りも電車にします。
帰りの時間帯は地下鉄も混んでいるので、今度は山手線に乗ります。
ホテルへの到着時間を考慮して、品川駅では車でなく私鉄に乗り換えます。
この時間帯に座ることは難しいので、ずっと立って移動ですが1時間ほどご辛抱願います。
Let’s switch to the train because we might be late for the Kabuki performance due to traffic congestion.
Let’s get off the taxi at the next intersection and take the train from the nearest station.
We can take the subway from here, so let’s go straight to Higashi-Ginza station.
As Kabukiza is just a short distance from Higashi-Ginza station, we will arrive more than 30 minutes earlier than taxi.
The traffic jam in Tokyo is severe today, so we will also take the train on our way back.
Since the subway is also crowded during the return time, we will take the Yamanote Line this time.
Considering the arrival time at the hotel, we will take private railway at Shinagawa Station instead of car.
It will be difficult to find a seat during this time, so please bear with standing for about an hour during the commute.

時間について説明する場合

👉単純に時間について聞かれた場合を想定しています。

この電車は後10分で発車します。
This train will leave in about 10 minutes.
京都駅へは約二十分かかります。
It takes about 20 minutes to get to Kyoto station.

路線について説明する場合

👉駅の構内について聞かれる想定です。

この時間に大阪駅行き電車はありません。
There’s no train bound for Osaka Station at this time.
目的駅まで約5駅あります。
There are about 5 stations before our destination station.
東海道線は8番線です。
The Tokaido Line is at platform eight.
奈良駅行きは6番線からです。
The train bound for Nara Station leaves from platform six.
1番線に参ります。
We will go to platform one.

電車に乗る場合

👉一緒に電車に乗る際にお伝えする想定です。

どの電車か伝える

You should get on the 2nd train and not the 1st one.
最初の電車ではなく、2番目の電車に乗ってください。

どの車輌か伝える

先頭車輌ではなく、最後尾の車輌に乗ってください。
You should get on the last car, not the 1st one.
プラットフォームに入る3番目の車輌に乗ってください。
Please take the 3rd car that gets to the platform.

電車を乗り換える

次の駅で乗り換えます。
We will change trains at the next station.
2つ目の駅で御堂筋線に乗り換えます。
We will change to the Midosuji line at the second station from here
先ずは東海道線に乗って、京都駅で山陰線に乗り換えます。
We will first take the Tokaido Line and then change to the Sanin Line at Kyoto Station
乗り換えの必要はありません。
There’s no need to change trains.

料金を説明する場合

👉料金について色々聞かれた想定です。

上部の運賃表で料金がわかります。
You can check your fare on the fair table above.
料金は3,000円です。
The fare is 3,000 yen
特急料金は1,000円です。
A limited express ticket is ¥1000.
1日パスがありますので、こちらが安いと思います。
As a day-pass is available, I think buying one would cost you less
席の予約には座席券が必要です。
To reserve the seats, you need to buy a reserved seat ticket.

切符の買い方を説明する場合

👉お客様が大勢いて纏め買いできない為、それぞれに切符を買っていただく想定です。

券売機はあちらにあります。
The ticket vendor is over there.
この電車には特急券が必要です。
To use this train, you need a limited express ticket.
向こうの券売機で特急券が買えます。
You can buy a limited express ticket from the ticket vendor over there.

速さ/時間を説明する場合

👉もっと早く目的地につきたい場合を想定。

特急はあの駅には止まりません。
Limited express trains do not stop at that station.
特急に乗れば早く着きます。
We can get there faster by taking a limited express train.
快速電車は日中、この駅には止まりません。
Rapid trains do not stop at this station during the daytime.
名古屋行き最終は既に出ました。
The last train bound for Nagoya station has already left.
この電車は現在10分遅れています。
The train is currently running about 10 minutes late.

電車内を説明する

👉一緒に電車に乗った場合の想定です。

これは指定席車両ではありません。/指定席車輌です。
This is a non-reserved seating car./This is a reserved seating car.
この座席は優先席です。
These seats are priority seats.
この電車は全車禁煙です。
This train is entirely no-smoking.
この電車には喫煙車があります。
This train has smoking rooms.
この電車は車内販売があります。
Vendor service is available on this train.
この時間の最終車両は女性専門です。
The last car of the train is only for women at this time of the day.

想定外のパターン

自分もわからない時の対応

👉初めての駅、不慣れな路線等の想定です。

少々お待ち下さい。スマホで確認します。
Just a second. I will check it out on my smartphone.
ここでお待ち下さい。駅員に聞いてみます。
Can you wait here for a second? I will ask one of the station staff.

電車遅れの状況説明

👉致命的でないレベルの遅延のケースです。

電車が事故で止まってます。
The train services are now suspended due to an accident.
電車が車輌点検で遅れています。
Trains are delayed due to a car inspection.

注意喚起

👉はっきり伝えないと却ってお客様に迷惑かけてしまいかねない想定です。

安全の為に黄色線内でお待ち下さい。
Please wait behind the yellow line for your safety.
この電車は回送中てす。
This train is out of service.
優先席の側で電話を控えます。お静かにお願いします。
Be sure to refrain from using your phone near priority seats. Please be quiet here.
混雑時にはバックパックは前にしてください。
In a crowded train, carry your backpack in front of you.
この電車にはトイレがありません。
There are no toilets on this train.

緊急事態のパターン

事故発生時

👉その日の予定が大幅に狂ってしまう事態が発生した想定です。

神戸線は人身事故の影響で上下線で運転を見合わせています。
Inbound and outbound services on the JR Kobe Line were suspended due to a passenger injury.
現在、復旧の見通しは立っていません。
Currentrly, it is uncertain when the services will start again.

事故対策時

👉対策についてしっかりご説明しなければならない想定です。

状況がわかるまで、車内で待機ください。
Please remain seated until we have an update.
鉄道会社は振替輸送を実施中です。
The railways is offering conpensation transfers for subways.

謝罪時

👉大きなクレームにならないための謝罪を想定しています。

ご迷惑をおかけして誠に申し訳ございません。
I apologize for any inconvienience this accident may cause.
