今回は本編ブログ『加賀百万石！金沢って何？ネイティブ誘う英語術！』のA級英語通訳（日→英の対応が必要な方）向け演習《Dツール》です。

Dツール：”日⇒英”演習簡易ツール
本編ブログでは２部構成（1. この一言で腑に落ちる？／２．次の補足でご納得？）に分かれ、英語音声も各文毎に分かれていますが、この演習ツールではファイルを絞る為、１（前半1-3と後半4-6)と２（前半1-3と後半4-5)の４ファイルの構成になっています。また日本語だけ演習向けに（英語の対訳に、また不自然にならない範囲で日英の語順を合わせる様に）編集しています。
D1:日英確認用：『日本語』”英語”対訳
👉文単位で日本語の後に英訳が續きますので、内容の確認ができます。
D2:口頭即訳用：『日本語』のみ（ポーズ間に英訳）
👉各日本語文の後はポーズになっていますので、その間に英訳できます。
D3:リピーティング用：”英語”のみ（ポーズ無し）
👉英語音声のみが（ポーズなく）続きますので復唱ができます。
D4:内容チェック用：”英語”のみ（低速版：or同通演習用）
👉英語音声（ポーズなし）を低速版で復唱or同時通訳の演習ができます。速さはいつも通り約120wpm（約８５％低速版）です。
《原文！日英》
1. この一言で腑に落ちる？
1.1 四百年前の街並みがそのまんま？
- 金沢は日本の主要な文化都市のひとつで、できたのが約四百年前、当時日本トップクラスの武士によるものでした。戦争中の空襲を免れたので、当時の街並みや雰囲気が殆どそのまま残っています。あたかもサムライや芸者がさっきまで歩いていたように感じられるかもしれません。
- Kanazawa is one of Japan’s leading cultural cities, founded about 400 years ago by a top-class samurai of that time. Since it was spared from air raids during the war, the streets and atmosphere of those days remain almost intact. It might feel as if samurai and geisha were walking around here just earlier.
1.2 街全体がひとつの大きな美術館？
- 金沢は武士によって数百年かけて作られていて、京都の貴族文化を吸収しながらも意図的に差別化をしました。その結果、街全体がしっかり整えられたひとつの美術館の様で、伝統的な日本庭園、寺社、茶屋街、武家屋敷からモダンアートの名建築物まで殆ど全てが歩行可能な範囲に凝縮されていて、飽くことがありません。
- Kanazawa has been created over several hundred years by samurai, absorbing Kyoto’s aristocratic culture while deliberately differentiating it. As a result, the entire city might feel like one well-organized museum, where almost everything from traditional Japanese gardens, temples and shrines, teahouses, samurai residences, to renowned modern art and architecture is concentrated within a walkable area, never leaving visitors bored.
1.3 リッチでハイソなサムライの街？
- サムライの街として有名な金沢は、同じ武士の街で約ハ百年の歴史を持つ鎌倉と比較すると面白さが倍増します。鎌倉とその武士がハングリーでストイックな伝統を見せるのに対し、金沢は来訪者にリッチで上品なサムライスピリッツを、豪華な日本庭園や建築物を通して、深く感じさせるかもしれません。
- Kanazawa, famous as a city of samurai, can be enjoyed as twice as interesting when compared to Kamakura, another samurai city with a history of about 800 years. While Kamakura and its samurai might display a hungry, stoic tradition, Kanazawa might convince visitors of a rich, more sophisticated samurai spirit through its gorgeous Japanese gardens and architecture.
1.4 珈琲で黄金の国ジパングの香り？
- 金沢は金箔製造の国内マーケットシェアがほぼ百パーセントで、金沢市内の店舗では装飾品以外の様々な商品でも金箔が使われています。金箔ソフトクリームは特に有名ですが、金箔はそれ以外の食べ物、飲み物にもよくふりかけられています。薄い金箔が浮いているコーヒーを見ながら、少し楽しい気分になれるかもしれません、「あっそうか、日本は黄金の国、ジパングだった！」と思いながら。
- Kanazawa has almost 100% of the domestic market share for gold leaf production, and stores in Kanazawa City use gold leaf for a variety of products beyond decorative items. The gold leaf ice cream is especially famous, but gold leaf is often sprinkled on other foods and drinks as well. You may feel a bit of joy seeing a thin gold leaf floating on your coffee, reminding yourself, “Oh, Japan was the legendary land of gold, ZIPANGU!”
1.5 領主達の領主による領主のための街？
- 金沢は、日本を代表するサムライの街のひとつで、16世紀末から約300年にわたり、14代の領主達によって治められました。彼らの影響が見られるのは、城や庭、街並みから、能劇、着物、金箔工芸、九谷焼といった文化遺産まで、すべてに至ります。金沢の現代の生活は、彼らが関与したさまざまな遺産のおかげで、賑わっているものと言ってよいでしょう。真の「領主の領主による領主のための街」金沢を体感してみませんか。
- Kanazawa is one of Japan’s iconic samurai towns, governed by 14 generations of lords for around 300 years, starting from the late 16th century. Their influence can be seen in everything from castles, gardens, and streetscapes to the cultural heritage of Noh theater, kimono, gold leaf crafts, and Kutani ware. It is fair to say that modern life in Kanazawa thrives on the magnificent legacy left by these lords. Why not experience Kanazawa, a town truly “of the lords, by the lords, for the lords”?
1.6 夜に金箔アイスを味わいたい貴方に？
- 金沢には、金箔アイスを扱うお店がいくつもあり、繊細な金箔のシートが自分たちのアイスの上にのせられる魅惑的な瞬間をカメラに収めることができます。でも、多くの店舗が午後5時には閉店してしまうため、暗くなった後に黄金の輝きをお求めの方には、兼六園のライトアップが完璧な選択肢になります。松の葉が夜空に輝き、目の前に広がりますと、思わずこう叫んでしまうかもしれません。「あっ！金箔アイスクリーム！（Oh! Gold leaf—I scream!）」
- Kanazawa is home to several gold leaf ice cream shops, where visitors can capture the mesmerizing moment when a delicate sheet of gold leaf is placed atop their ice cream. However, since most stores close by 5:00 p.m., those seeking a golden spectacle after dark can turn to the illumination of Kenrokuen Garden as a perfect alternative. As the pine tree leaves glow against the night sky, spreading out before your eyes, you might find yourself exclaiming: “Oh! Gold leaf—I scream!”

2.1 建築（匠：たくみ）系
👉貴方の審美眼には似合わない街？
- 建築好きの方が特に楽しめるのがサムライ時代のままの茶屋街と武家屋敷跡です。金沢だけですよ、これだけリアルで美的なお茶屋や武家屋敷の内部を見られるのは。忍者寺と呼ばれる迷路の様な仕掛のお寺も人気がありますが、貴方の審美眼には合わないかもしれません、騙しの構造に目を奪われ、美的な箇所も怪しく見えてしまうので。
- Architecture lovers will especially appreciate the teahouse district and the former samurai residential area that have been preserved as they were in the samurai period. Kanazawa is the only place where you can see the inside of a teahouse and samurai residence in such a realistic and aesthetically pleasing manner. A temple with a maze-like structure called the ‘Ninja Temple’ is also popular, but it might not fit your authentic and aesthetic sense because the deceptive structure is eye-catching and even the aesthetic parts look suspiciously similar!
2.2 ファッション系
👉レンタル着物も気楽でない街？
- 金沢は伝統的な街並みと茶道等の伝統文化に溢れていて、他の都市よりも多くの人が着物姿で歩いています。着物のレンタルショップも多いので、気楽に着物を試すことができます。金沢には加賀友禅という高級ブランド着物もありますが、それを気楽に試せるかどうはその人の財力と度胸次第ですね。
- Kanazawa, with its traditional streets and rich culture such as the tea ceremony, has many more people walking around in kimonos than other cities. There are many kimono rental stores, so you can comfortably try kimonos. Kanazawa also has Kaga Yuzen, a luxury brand of kimono, but whether one can comfortably try it or not depends on one’s financial resources and nerve!
2.3 アート系
👉隠れた宝石の様な芸術的建築？
- 金沢は街全体がアート的に仕上げられているので、芸術愛好家にはどれから行こうか悩ましく思われます。でも、兼六園の中に隠れた宝石と言える芸術的建築があります。金沢領主によってサムライ時代終焉直前に建てられたこの御殿は、貴族と武士と西洋文化が技術的にも色彩的にも見事に融合していて、京都の著名建築にも匹敵するものです。
- The entire city of Kanazawa is artistically crafted, making it difficult for art lovers to decide what to explore first. However, there is a hidden gem of artistic architecture in Kenrokuen Garden. Built by the Kanazawa lords just before the end of the samurai period, the palace is a magnificent fusion of aristocratic, samurai, and Western culture, both technically and colorfully, rivaling the prominent architecture of Kyoto.
2.4 フード系
👉他の市場にないリアルな市場体験？
- 金沢には三百年の歴史を持つ有名な市場がありますが、金沢領主によって建てられたもので自分達の料理の材料調達の為でした。現在は金沢市民の台所と呼ばれその賑わいと活況で知られています。元々が地元民の生活空間で観光客の為に作られた市場ではないので、他の市場にはないリアルな市場体験ができますよ！
- Kanazawa has a famous market with a history of 300 years, built by the Kanazawa lords to procure ingredients for their own cooking. Now called the kitchen of Kanazawa citizens, it is known for its busy and bustling atmosphere. Since the market was originally a living space for locals and not built for tourists, you can experience a real market unlike any other!
2.5 日本人系
👉サムライの子孫に普通に会える街?
- 金沢では、本物の侍の世界を垣間見ることができて、そこでは、多くの子孫が何世代にもわたって大切に保存してきた家に今も住んでいます。貴重な家宝で満たされたこれらの住居は、今日まで手入れされており、中には一般公開されているものもあります。訪問者が体験できるのは、復元された邸宅や企画された博物館の展示でなく、子孫ご本人たちの自宅や語りによるものなのです。家宝は多岐にわたり、刀や甲冑から、特注の茶道具や家紋入りの菓子も揃った精緻な茶室まであります。本物の侍の子孫と今日の地元の人々と出会い、おしゃべりする機会をお楽しみください。
- Kanazawa offers a glimpse into an authentic samurai world, where many descendants still live in the homes their families have carefully preserved for generations. These residences, filled with treasured heirlooms, are still maintained to this day—and some are even open to the public. Visitors can experience this legacy not through restored mansions or curated museum displays, but through the homes and stories of the descendants themselves. The heirlooms range from swords and armor to intricately tailored tea rooms, complete with specialized utensils and sweets bearing family crests. 👉日本人の頭の中は今でもサムライのまま？
- 金沢を訪問する多くのインバウンドにはサムライの街のイメージが強いのです。実際に来てみると、モダンな都会なので、そのイメージのギャップに驚きます。見た目はモダンでオシャレな街に見えますが、人々の心の中では今でもサムライのままと思った方が良いかもしれません。日本人の現代人の日常生活は、金沢に限りませんが、殆ど全てサムライ時代にデザインされた建築スタイル、食器、食品に囲まれているんです。
- Many foreign visitors to Kanazawa have a strong image of it as a city of samurai. When they actually come here, they are surprised by the contrast, as it is a modern urban city. While the city appears modern and fashionable, you might want to think that the people are still samurai at heart. The daily lives of modern Japanese people, not just in Kanazawa, are almost entirely surrounded by architectural styles, tableware, and foods designed during the samurai period!
