6 お茶を頂く（薄茶）！（Enjoying the Tea – Thin Tea）
本編ブログ「6-1 お茶を頂く（薄茶）フロー（日本語）」と「6-1a. Receiving and Drinking the Tea – Thin Tea（英語）」をカバーします。(本編から一部修正している箇所がありますが）どちらも翻訳文のような完全対訳でない点にご注意ください。（対訳のままではその作法の意味が伝りにくい箇所には表現を補足しています。）
A 『日本語』から”英語”への置き換え
A1:基本モデル(音声：日英）

👉日本語全文を最後まで聴いて（メモ可）、英訳が試せます。長めの日本語説明の後にインバウンドにわかりやすく簡潔に伝えるシチュエーションです。
A4:同時通訳モデル（音声：日：低速）
👉日本語から少し遅れてそのまま並走して英訳が試せます。約260文字/分（約85%低速）
B ”英語”から『日本語』への置き換え
B1:基本モデル（音声：英日）
👉英文と和訳文のセット全文を聴いて全体把握します。（A1の逆パターンです。）
B2:口頭即訳モデル（音声：英＋ポーズ）
👉英語の後の無音(ポーズ)の間に和訳ができます。（B1の日本語文がないタイプです。）
B3:逐次通訳モデル（音声：英）
👉英語全文を最後まで聞いて（メモ可）、和訳を試せます。インバウンドの長めの英語発言の後に日本人スタッフにわかりやすく簡潔に伝えるシチュエーションです。
B4:同時通訳モデル（音声：英：低速）
👉英語から少し遅れてそのまま並走して和訳できます。約120wpm（約85%低速）版。

6 お茶を頂く（薄茶）！（Enjoying the Tea – Thin Tea）
6-1 お茶を頂く（薄茶）フロー
- 茶碗が差し出される ：Presentation of the Tea Bowl
- ホストが両手で丁寧に茶碗を持ち、客の正面に差し出します。
- 茶碗を受け取る： Receive the tea bowl
- 右手で茶碗の縁を持ち、左手を底に添えます。
- 両手で丁寧に受け取ります。
- 「お点前頂戴いたします」と挨拶する：Say “Otemae chōdai itashimasu”
- 茶碗を自分の正面（膝前）に置き、ホストに向かって「お点前頂戴いたします」と一礼します。
- 「あなたが淹れてくださったお茶を感謝していただきます」という意味です。
- 茶碗を回す（正面を避ける）:Rotating the Tea Bowl (Avoiding the Front)
- 右手で茶碗を時計回りに2回（約90度）回します。
- これは、茶碗の正面（最も美しい絵柄の部分）に口をつけるのを避けるという謙虚さの表現です。
- お茶を味わう：Savoring the Tea
- 静かに一口ずつ、お茶の味や香りを楽しみながら頂きます。
- 最後の一口（吸いきり）：The Final Sip (Suikiri)
- 最後の一口は、軽く音を立てて吸い切ります。
- これは、最後まで美味しく頂いたことをホストに伝える合図です。
- 飲み口を清める ：Cleaning the Rim
- 飲み終わったら、指先（親指と人差し指）で飲み口を軽く拭い、その指を懐紙（持っていれば）で拭きます。
- 茶碗を正面に戻す ：Turn the tea bowl back to its original position
- 茶碗を反時計回りに回して、正面を元の位置（ホスト側）に戻します。
- 茶碗を置く ：Place the tea bowl down
- 両手で丁寧に、元の位置に茶碗を置きます。
6-2 Receiving and Drinking the Tea – Thin Tea
- Presentation of the Tea Bowl
- The host carefully holds the tea bowl with both hands and presents it in front of the guest with mindfulness and respect.
- Receiving the Tea Bowl
- Use your right hand to hold the rim and support the base with your left palm.
- Accept the bowl politely with both hands.
- Expressing Gratitude
- Place the bowl in front of your knees, bow to the host, and say: “Otemae chōdai itashimasu.”
- It means, “I gratefully receive the tea you have prepared.”
- Rotating the Tea Bowl (Avoiding the Front)
- Lift the bowl and rotate it clockwise twice (about 90 degrees) with your right hand.
- This is a traditional sign of humility to avoid drinking from the “front”—the most beautiful side of the bowl.
- Savoring the Tea
- Bring the bowl to your lips and take small, mindful sips, appreciating the flavor and aroma.
- The Final Sip (Suikiri)
- As you finish the last sip, make a slight, polite slurping sound.
- This signals to the host that you have finished the tea and enjoyed every drop.
- Cleaning the Rim
- Gently wipe the part of the rim where you drank with your thumb and forefinger, then wipe your fingers with a kaishi paper napkin (if provided).
- Returning the Tea Bowl to Its Original Position
- Rotate the bowl counter-clockwise to return the “front” to its original orientation, facing the host.
- Placing the Tea Bowl Down
- Gently set the bowl down in its original position with both hands, showing care for the craftsmanship
